Hestra CZone membrane is a technology used in Hestra ski gloves to provide waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection, essential for ski gloves. The membrane makes up the layers within the ski gloves and is a waterproof and breathable layer. It blocks water and wind from the outside while allowing moisture (sweat) to escape from the inside.
C-zone is Hestra's version of Gore-Tex, but without the added cost of that brand name.
The Gauntlet Ski Mittenss also feature a longer cuff to keep the snow out. Fingertips and palm are reinforced with PU-coated synthetic fabric for extra strength and grip on poles, sledges and other winter gear. The liner is made of polyester fleece with warm synthetic insulation.
